While it’s nice to be the center of attention once a year, I also like to spend some time on Father’s Day reflecting on how I can do my fathering job a little bit better.
Because it’s really not about us Dads. It’s about those who make us Dads.

Very well put. I am so proud of my daughter and what she has done with her life. I have helped her with her cooking skills, watched her graduate from Le Cordon Bleu and now she has worked in and with some of the finest restaurants and with some world renown chefs in Chicago. I have a loving wife who also puts up with me. That’s what make my fathers day!
Aye matey. Ye be a dad forever !!
And ya have to live long enough to be a barnacle on their butts !!

happy dads day to all. I was cooking at 4:30 A.M. for a buffet of 500 + hungry dads (moms,etc) till noon then unto dog sales at 1:30 P.M. till 5 for a local “pick and jam” did not sell many but the music was worth it!! Good fathers day for me.
