Hey Slingers, I just got a very unique gig post. How would you like to sling dogs for a few weekends in one of natures treasures?
Starved Rock Lodge and Conference Center is a beautiful old stone lodge in one of the prettiest state parks in the nation. I know because I’ve been there many times. Starved Rock is a few miles outside of Ottowa Illinois. This would be a fun place to sling that’s for sure!

Steve, my company is looking to purchase a hotdog cart for our outdoor veranda but before we invest several thousand dollars I would like to try one out for a couple of weekends to see if it will work, where we should put it, how we would man it, etc…
Do you have anyone that would have a cart available the first 2 or 3 weekends in May? We can either rent it for those weekends or provide all the product and pay someone to man it.
Wow, what a fun and interesting opportunity, too bad I’m in Texas, otherwise I would seriously consider it. Hope they find someone.

Amy replied she is out of town we will touch base Wednesday and oh by the way nice cart.
Steve let me know if I’m going in the right direction.
I will man cart , I will sell my products , I will give her numbers of what was sold.
Or should I go for weekly lease, after I get numbers of weekend sales and daily numbers. Could be a very nice gig for summer.

We did not come to terms on money. On a average day with a local Auctioneer I’m doing 60 or 70 dollars an hour some can be $100 an hour or more. I only need to work 1 to 2 days a week with auctioneer.
Amy wanted a 50/50 split I told her it would be better to find someone else.
