We have a second winner. But who exactly is it?…
The 300th comment was made by bshaddock1, but the rule was no consecutive comments by the same person. In his shiny stainless steel dog sled crazed frenzy, bshaddock posted two in a row… oops!
Comment 301 was posted by podobadboy…
Rules are rules. Podobadboy – email me with your address. You won a sled.
steve@redarrowpublishing.com.
But then again, bshaddock put in a huge effort. Should he go home empty handed?
Hmmm. What do you think dear readers?
-Steve
Hey Steve … I think it was a well fought battle … thanks to you and your efforts, I think we are all winners … THANKS
Contrary to the rants of Gordon Geco “Greed is not Good” Rules are rules and as independent thinkers of the Entrepeneurial Movement it is MOST important not to take short-cuts. Most of the circumstances that put us on this course of self-sufficient Small Businessman/ladies have been because those before us bent the Rules for Selfish Reason. We, the New and Growing majority, must set Example for the rest. Teach the World through the Nobility of the Hot Dog Vendor.
Thanks Chef.
Your Comment Should be Printed on Parchment with an Expensive Fountain Pen and Sealed with a Wax Imprimature.
-Steve
My Imprimature is a bit premature as I have switched from Beeswax to Batick. Its low melting point is similiar to my Irish Temper but it doesn’t Crack at the slightest little stress like the old Wax. I can burn the candle at both ends cause I know where to get the wax
Pococno –
I just sit here shaking my head every time you say something. How do you do it?
-Steve
I don’t really Know..it use to be the MSG in the Hot Dogs I was Using But we are all Organic Now.
Maybe it is the sugar in our New Pocono Birch Beer……..
The answer is… cut the Cart in half and give a half to each party, oh wait that was Solomon.
bshaddock1 entries should be disqualified as they are two posted in a row. That would make podobadboy 299. And herefordiz 300 and therefore the winner.
The injustice in this is, had bshaddock1 played by the rules, with one entry, podobadboy would have won. So he does not win because someone else did not play by the rules
We all had fun with the competition as well as all other such events. If Steve can set up a PayPal transaction I would be willing to contribute $5.00 to start podobadboy on his way to a free Cart. now if other can donate justice can be done. It is not fair to put the burden on Steve. But we all can make it right.
Sorry for the long post, and thank you for letting me be heard
Here’s how I figure it.
bshaddock1’s first comment is legitimate. His second comment gets thrown out, making podobadboy the winner.
-Steve
Congratulation’s to the winner: Podobadboy.
I do think that bshaddock should get something for trying so hard… maybe band aides for his fingers for typing so much… I wasn’t really in it to win it though. If you’re interested in giving away another hotdog cart, I’ll take that!
Mike
Steve-
I have to agree, podobadboy is the legit winner. Off subject…we probably covered this at some point in the past but…what size dogs do y’all use out there and why? I use an 8 to 1 and have been kindly & gently disputing with a friend who prefers those big Hebrew 4 to 1 hoglegs. What about it? To upsize or not to upsize?
Peace,
Love,
GoodDog!
Jim Seidler
I wonder where the hot dog cart comes into play? I thought the contest was for another hot dog sled?? Oh well, congrats to the winner, sorry to the double poster, better luck next time.
Esteban
I love a good controversy. I believe that this is probably a result of global warming.
However I have a solution how about a participation award. Maybe we should all get a trophy for participating. LOL
Pocono I am laughing so hard I am crying. Awesome post
Esteban – You are correct.
It’s not a cart we gave away, it’s a dog sled.
-Steve
Good Dog Jim, Re: hot dog sizes.
Thanks for suggesting a good topic.
I think it deserves it’s own separate article and discussion. Let’s save it for a future issue. I should be able to post it here on HDCN in a week or two.
-Steve
Hey Steve … the Dog Sled arrived yesterday …. we will certainly put it to good use … THANKS!! // Roger
