Tons of awesome pics below, including some shots of Lee’s new E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart under construction. Holy moley, that’s going to be one big E-Z! I can’t wait to see the finished product.

Lee writes…

Hey Everyone, here it is, one ready to go hotdog cart. Used one season in Ohio on weekends only. The first $3200.00 gets it.

It has 2 burner Comerical Charbroil Infrared Grill/with blackening plate, one full size steam table as seen in Steve Schaible’s do it yourself cart, 4 sinks with hot water heater, 5 gallon fresh water and 7 gallon waste water with 12 volt pump, onboard vent fan, two 12 volt marine deep cycle batteries with 750 watt power inverter. One 6 foot matching umbrella. One extra clip on table and clip on shelf.

Lots of storage space. I’ve included some pictures and you might get a look at my new cart I’m building next to it. My name is Lee Vestal and my email is lvestal@woh.rr.com or call me in Ohio at 937-726-4902. You have just enough time to get health permit, and start slinging dogs next month!

This one won’t last long!

Right on Lee, this won’t last long at all. It’s a thing of beauty.

  1. Dude!!! Really nice, both of them. I’m just not quite there yet. I wish you the best in your expanded version :).

  2. Now THIS is taking Steve’s information and really making a custom cart. Now that I am on the ‘road to recovery’ I can get back to finishing my own cart and become a dog slinger like the rest of you.

Good luck Lee, I hope you’ll keep us up to date on your progress, you are showing exactly what I told some one else recently, you want a cart, you worked a cart, now build THE cart YOU want instead of paying some one else for building it for you.

  3. Nicely done. Love the grill! I am gonna need at least one more cart this year, I can see. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Wow they are both great carts, that new one your building looks like the mother of all carts. Great job good luck with it.

  5. the “old” cart is awesome! The”new” one looks like it might be a little hard on the back or unless you are as short as the wiener gals???? Will you be standing up in the new one???? Just wondering? Rena

  6. Lee, that’s what I call ingenuity!!! What are you running the Dometic on. propane, 12volt?

Will you have a problem with the propane tanks enclosed on the new cart?

Jimmy, there’s no problem with the tanks being inside the cart. All you need to do is vent the space, such as a dryer vent or cut a hole in the floor, and screen it. Propane is heavier than air, therefore drops to the floor. You do this in case your tank is overfilled. Shaking the tank or being hot could cause the tank to “blow off” through the relief valve releasing the extra propane.
Bet you can’t guess what one of my specialties is?

  7. Actually, if you look closer the center of the new cart appears to be lacking a floor. Of course I’m not wearing my glasses and I had a Mai Tai. Tikiman.
