When I first saw these things I was disgusted. Who on earth would buy a green hot dog? What a dumb idea.
Except for St. Patrick’s Day, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to eat a green hot dog. Isn’t that the color of the hot dogs on the roller grill in the gas stations? Aren’t we trying to distance our hot dog carts from that image?
Then I read the product literature a little closer and WOW – I get it! One of the biggest pains when slingin’ dogs is checking to see if they are hot by inserting a thermometer into the meat itself.
Greenies Weenies are actually made for hot dog vendors. They include a food safe dye that disappears when it reaches 160 degrees. Genius! Now I can pretty much throw away my thermometer. I know in an instant if my hot dogs are up to serving temp. All I have to do is lift the lid and look at them. Check it out – they are ready to serve!
I love them and I think you will too.
GET A FREE PACK! Greenies Weenies wants your opinion and they authorized me to give away 30 free 8 packs. The only catch is that they want your honest opinion on the product. Their email address will be included in the package so you can let them know what you think. If you would like to place an order, they ship frozen by the case.

Steve,
U almost had me until I looked at the calendar. LOL????
But when I lived in Tennessee I seen some very strange colors on hot dogs sold in the stores. Green , brown, yellow, fire engine red it was very strange.
I used to go 150 miles on a hint that someone could make a good pizza.
They are awesome. I set up my cart outside of Fenway Park, Home of the Boston Red Sox. I call them Wally Dogs, named after their mascot, Wally and the famous left field wall, The Green Monster. I sell about 500 a game. At $5 a pop, I make a killing!!!!
Wow. Good for you Mark!!!
Dang it Steve! I fell for it yet another year.
