Today is President’s Day. The mail isn’t moving and my kids don’t have school. I think I’m going to spend the whole day with my family.
If I worked for someone else, I would have to either burn a precious vacation day, or call in sick. Even though I’m not sick. Ever done that? Me either 😉
When you work for someone else, your life is not entirely your own. You give a large portion of it to the man in exchange for money. Been there, done that, couldn’t deal with it anymore. I hit the eject button on that deal a dozen years ago.
I have done a lot of things to make money since I bailed out of the rat race. Nowadays my “job” is to help you escape. To find you, grab you by the arm and lead you to freedom.
I can show you how to start your own hot dog cart business – if you want to do that, I’m the best in the business at it. I can also show you some of the new opportunities that I have discovered. And I can show you how to combine the two to really take your business to the next level.
Lately I have been thinking a lot about my mission statement. I haven’t fully developed it yet, but it’s centered around this fact: I wake up every morning to serve you.
However today I can’t do that. Today my boss told me to serve my kids.
-Steve
Go for it Steve and enjoy your day with your family.

Funny part is…I have no idea what I’m doing-Ha! Things are Fantastic, but hoping they get better soon! (p.s. signed up as a “Gator” affiliate under you! ) You’re the Greatest- THANKS!
I Love it,
Hey Steve,
It’s great you can spend a great day with your kids when they are out of school. Mission statements are kinda tough, keep thinkin, all the words will come together.
I have worked for the “man” too. Got tired of sitting in a cubicle (or cell as I called it) and split out on my own. Built a hot dog cart and have loved every minute of it. A Masters in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and selling hot dogs and loving every minute of it.

Hey Steve- Even the self-employed have a boss! Deal is that it’s a fair trade off, the harder you work, the more freedom you gain. Enjoy your family for a day.
BTW I’ve been cruising the New Ops site and am very impressed!
Man you just got to love this business. Work hard when you work. But to play hard when you play is only better. Thanks Steve for guiding me to such freedoms. That is why my cart is all White, Red & Blue. My wife Katie and I call it the “FREEDOM CART !”
Blessings to all of you Slingers

President’s Day has come and gone, and now for the REAL holiday – Mardi Gras. Heading out at noon for my usual location…Between 3 pm and 1 in the morning (after the last parade), last year netted $2100…Weather cooperating, this year should be better, as I am even better prepared. Could work my cart on the parade route prior to that and make another $800, but I am not out to kill myself…”Laissez les bon Temps rouler!!”
Awesome Uncle Frank! Powerful stuff, isn’t it?!!
Thanks Hank. I hope all is going well brother.

A belated Happy Presidents Day to you too Steve. I wasn’t able to respond on Monday, but didn’t want to miss an Op to tell you how I am doing.
Where should I start … I joined Steve’s Team and started building my cart almost a year ago, but found my self in the hospital and that all got put on hold, and now the cart looks at me every day and dares me to come back to it. Yesterday I had another in a series of operations that started a year ago, but I am still here. A couple of months ago I joined NewOps and now I can tell the world, THIS WORKS !!!
I started Steve’s NewOp in December, and in less than a month I was an International Success. Someone above asked if this works in Canada, and if so he wanted in, well, most of my sales have been IN Canada because someone saw me in a small tourist town in Arizona, went home and started telling his friends about me (and my site) and the best advertising of all time started, word of mouth.
Not only that, but other members of New Op have bought what I sell on line.
Am I getting rich from this, no. It is work (about an hour a day) but am I having FUN, you betcha I am, and this is growing every day. As a matter of fact, as I was typing this, I just received another notification from PayPal that I have another order to fill.
Each day that I drive to the Post Office to mail another package, the lady behind the counter laughs and says … “ANOTHER one?”
And those are just the orders I send to Canada, the US orders get packaged at home and the carrier picks them up. I only go to the Post Office if I have to fill out custom papers for international packages.
Steve, if you want it here, I’ll let you tell them my site address. But in the mean time, thank you again and again for giving me the insite on how to do what I am doing AT HOME.
