Hello Steve,
I am just writing to tell you how excited I am to have started my hot dog business.
I live in a small town of about 3500 people called Grande Cache nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta Canada. This past weekend I took delivery of my Willy Dog Hummer and got right to work.
I set up outside the local grocery store without any notice or advertising. Saturday I worked from noon until three and had to shut because of a big lightning storm. I did $330 in sales! Not to bad for day one.
Sunday I sold from 11:00AM until 3:15PM and I sold out of all my hot dogs! I did $470. Things are looking pretty good. This weekend I am doing some late night stuff outside the local bar. This should be good as well.
People are really talking about my cart. There is nothing in town like this. I am doing regular dogs, jumbo dogs and footlongs. Additionally I am doing some “Gourmet” style dogs including the Chicago, New York, Chili Cheese and my own invention and most popular the Donair Dog.
I ordered the Carts of Cash and read it cover to cover as soon as I got it. There are definitely a few golden nuggets in there. My first really big event will be onĀ Canada Day. I will be set up at the local park where all the activities will be taking place. They are expecting 2500 plus people so it should be quite exciting.
I have attached a few pictures of my setup. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for your support.

Congrats Mike, great start to a new business.
Way to go Mike! Great to hear the success of another dogger. Best of luck to you.
Great hat. You’ve got more guts than I. Just in case I change my mind, where can I get one?
Tell us more about the Donair Dog. Great start, buddy.
Great job, Mike!
In a small town with no competition, looks like you’re in for a great time!
Looks like your setup is a lot like mine, and you really look like a people person with that hat!
Enjoy!
You are livin’ the life Mike! What’s on the Donair Dog?
That’s awesome Mike. Good job!
Mike,
Congrats on your sucsess right out of the gate !! Nice cart and who could possibly resist buying a great dog and sparking up a conversation about that great hat.
Not to mention you are obviously a man of great vision who is planning on being around and sucessful for years to come. Take a look at his sign and note “FAMOUS SINCE 2010”. Now that’s confidence.
You Go Mike !!
Mike that is how you do it man, great news, glad to hear you are doing great, hey keep up the dogs man, its time to have fun
Tony

Love the Hat! You’ve got the right idea buddy. Great logo and the set up looks terrific. Best wishes for your new adventure. Great pics, thanks.
Mike, this is so exciting! I love success stories that start on day one.
Your set up looks great. Love the pics too.
Very inspiring… I know you will be around a long time. Thanks for sharing the photos and experience.
Way to go Mike. Interested in where you got your sign made up? Looking to buy some signs like that to put my logo on!
Congratulations Mike!
I am going full time myself in two weeks.
I like the “one glove” idea which is actually serving the food. It’s hard to work with both gloves doing other things around the cart.
Thanks for the pics.
Mike, ya got a really great thing going for ya, keep it up and you’ll be a rich man in no time. Where did you buy the jumbo and foot long hot dogs? I’m having a hard time finding a Distrbutor that has them. A future ventor.
Way to go Mike! You make it sound so easy, love the hat, I want one. Best of success to you!!
All the Best to you Mike looks like a great set up!!!!
God Bless! Love the hat. What’s a Donaire Dog??
