I’m sale crazy – I can’t stop myself!
Last week we had a nice sale on our top three products. It was very limited and I got a lot of emails from folks who missed out.
Well here’s your last chance to take advantage of me – and it ends at midnight tonight! In the spirit of Labor Day, cooler temperatures and great dog slingin’ weather I’ve decided to re-open the sale until Tuesday night
Special Offer: If you put the words LABOR DAY into the coupon code box (you’ll see the box during checkout) I’ll give you a 5% discount on any of our three main products:
Hot Dog Biz 101 – The #1 Hot Dog Cart Start Up Guide
E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart – Building Your Own Hot Dog Cart With Hardware Store Materials
Cash Tracker – Custom Hot Dog Cart Bookkeeping Software
This is the last sale I’ll be running for a long time so don’t pass it up.
Have a safe, fun, and profitable (if you’re slingin’ today) Labor day!
-Steve
I am getting ready to dive in the Hot Dog Business. We live in Bullhead City AZ. My wife is a little unsure about it right now. But I can pull from 3 main tourists places all with in 40 miles of each other. I know its a little late in the year, but figure to stick my toe in and see what happens. I’ve really been encouraged by the comments and feedback. I will be ordering your info soon.
Happy Hot Dogging!
Doc
What’s up Doc?
Actually this is the best season as far as sales go. Business can be slow during the hottest days of summer but as soon as things cool off a bit people want hot dogs. This is a great time to get started and there is plenty of season left. Go get ’em Doc!

Funny you should mention that sales pick up at this time of year, Steve. I’ve noticed that my sales have been up over the last two weeks, especially after the heat wave broke. Here in New England I’m hoping that people will want to grab just a little more of summer fun and stop at a cart…especially mine! The route I’m on is popular for “Leaf peepers” and I’m hoping to catch a few. I’m running until mid-October. The pulled pork is picking up too! One woman came by and ordered 7 sandwiches among other things.
I have been out of work for 2 months due to eye surgery. Before that I had set up only a few times. During my time off I have had a lot of time to think and plan. I ordered some items for marketing and have decided to go this full time, leaving my other job. I’m gung-ho and ready to rock and roll and have some fun at age 59 yrs. young. I’ll send pics when I’m up and running in about 2 weeks.
wow I finnly got my trailer yesterday and plan on starting to build it in next coupel of days. i was hopping your sale would go tell i got payed tomarrow for me to buy your book. i already got your easy built hotdog book a year ago or two. hope to be in bussness soon.hope you well extend your sale for one more day becouse i be calling you tomarrow to place my order.
Steve, I was a little skeptical about doggin it today being that it is Labor day and alot of people BBQ or travel for the holiday. I thought it might be a lousy day to be out and a waste of my time. After some thought I figured what the heck, I wasn’t doing anything anyway so I would test the waters. Much to my surprise it turned out to be a pretty good day! I made some new friends, met some old ones and made some money too! I learned that you cannot determin what kind of day you will have just by looking at the date on the calendar. So just get out there, HAVE FUN and treat everyday as a money maker!
For those of you contemplating, jump in and go for it. I had to take time off this last month because my father was ill. And if i had a whats that called……oh a job, i probably wouldnt have been able to be at his hospital bed. And with the time off, you can always pick up and start again. Never judge, oh its a holiday or summer is over. I know some of you it is seasonal since you live in the midwest or back east. But take advantage of those days that you can. You never know. I had one night outside a concert this summer, sat there making no money, was going to drop the prices and about an hour after it let out i made about 700.00 in aprox 4 hrs. I couldnt cook em fast enough. So there are ups and downs, but it is your business and it will always be there for you. And Steve is always available for the best advice out there!!!!
Hey Doc, “No time like the present” my Dad would always say. Here’s some more encouragement for you. Steve, you’re right my sales were down during that heat wave that set in but now that the weather has come back to normal business is picking up.
I just did a Labor Day concert. “Bluegrass, Barbecue & Boom” it was called. This event has been going on for a few years. I tried to get in to it last year but was told “we already have food vendors, we don’t need any more”. So I did some other little events for the same organization and they were so impressed they invited me to this years big event. I was up against an ice cream truck, a kettle corn guy and 2 BBQ trucks. We were “buried”…We grossed $1,545.00 in 5 1/2 hours.
I also just landed a lunchtime spot at a large hunting & sporting goods store. I was told by the guy that used to work the spot (he’s retiring and now traveling in his motor home with his wife) that this spot is terrible during the summer. But now that it’s cooling down it will be great through the end of deer season which is the first week of December. The guys in the store told me that the month of October and November I better be prepared to sling some dogs, those deer hunters come in by the truck load and they are HUNGRY!
It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is. All you have to do is be where there are lot’s of hungry people and you will do fine.
Ron,
Hay, lived in Havasu, getting ready to return to the area. That season is just starting!!! Your timing couldn’t be better! Go for it! We are coming down to warm up! It’s been a long cold summer here in Alaska! But what a summer! LOVE the Business!
