  1. My wife and I have been slinging since 1967 (Taco Bell #1 and #17 and carts since 1986). First rule is; It’s always my fault! Rule #2; She handles the money.
Worked out well so far but I think I’ll always be on probation. We cranked out $1,800.00 worth of dogs in 5 hours on the 4th with just the two of us.
I do have a checklist that helps my memory. Copy to anyone that would like it. Easy to modify. It’s a Word.doc so it is common

  2. So True! But we have become a much better team as a result and decided on roles and responsibilities as well as systems for doing things.

  3. My wife and I were both working for the same hotel when it was bought out and everyone was let go. Bootstrapping the hot dog cart and then moving into catering and ultimately being successful at it has been a challenge. I don’t think any two people were ever meant to spend that much time together! Love endures though and we are better for it. Cheers Steve!

  4. y husband pretty much lets me do the “slinging” but, this Aug. we have a huge balloon rally to do and he will be by my side, so stay tuned…this could get ugly…i will try to be patient.

  5. Hey Steve!

My wife “Special Kay” is the best! Her customer service and beautiful spirit radiates all the time as we sling together! I’m the maestro cranking out the orders as she yells them out and hands me the guest tickets. She takes names and personalizes each order! #TeamWork!

  6. My wife and all usually slang together. We have a great location by the biggest pool in our area. She is the boss! Lol. I would not have it any other way. Our marriage is stronger because we spend alot of time together.
