I just got a really nice note from Hot Dog Cart News subscriber Michael Evegens. Michael is a retired professional race car driver who is building a hot dog cart to use at car shows. You see Michael has a REALLY nice hot rod that he shows almost every weekend and can never find anything to eat at the shows.
Well Michael saw a need (big crowds, no food) and has decided to fill it – the classic business start up formula!
He ordered my materials and after reviewing them he had this to say…
Hi steve , i just wanted to drop you a line and say what a great book your “carts of cash ” is . whenever i order anything i’am never sure whether it will live up to the “hype” , well , in your case it really did ! it was more then i hoped for . it really told the “nuts and bolts” of the business . it is a step by step guide to the hot dog vending business . i have already gone thru the book several times because there is so much information it’s impossible to get it all in one setting . it seems the hardest part is dealing with the paperwork ( health dept. , local business ordinance , permits and such ) but your book explaines it all . as you know i recently ordered your book with the plans to build my own hot dog carts , and i’am looking forward to building it . i’am on no particular time line and will just plod along getting it done . once again , thanks for a great book . i’ll be in touch . michael evegens
Thanks for the kind words Michael and good luck!
-Steve
P.S. Sweet ride!!!
Michael needs to check out the Hotrod Hotdog cart on eBay – it may give him some additional ideas !
