I got a call the other day from my friend Brian Gass.
Brian is a co-founder of Sandbox Marketing, one of the top action sport and event marketing agencies in the country.
Brian is looking for a hot dog vendor to work the east coast stop of the nationwide Journey’s Backyard BBQ tour. The date is May 9.
Each stop of the Journeys Backyard BBQ includes professional skateboard demonstrations by the sports hottest athletes, freestyle motocross exhibitions, the Converse Battle of the Bands and a free performance by a national touring act.
Since the Summer of 2006, the Journeys Backyard BBQ has been blazing a trail across the country hosting the biggest, baddest action sports and music festivals in modern history. Along with skate and freestyle moto demos that regularly include athletes like Shaun White, Tony Hawk, and Brian Deegan, each stop plays host to a local “Battle of the Bands” as well as a free concert by a national headliner. Best of all, the events are FREE! And, with performances by P.O.D, Switchfoot and The Starting Line, it’s no wonder why the Journeys Backyard BBQ is on every teen and tween’s calendar from San Diego to Long Island.
This could be a multi-thousand dollar sales day for the lucky hot dogger who gets this gig.
I already hooked up Hot Dog Cart News subscriber Debi Dunaj for the Orlando stop, but Baltimore is still available on May 9th.
If you want it, give Brian a call at (714) 730-9500.
Tell him Steve at HotDogProfits sent you!
The Orlando event was awesome!
I got to sell hot dogs, listen to great music, was entertained by Metal Mulisha and their fantastic moto-tricks, watched everyone do the half-pipe and got some freebies too!
Brian Gass and his crew were awesome. The two I worked with most were Anderson and Ronnie. Great guys.
We fed the hungry crew when the day was over. They certainly appreciated that.
If you live in the area where this next event is and you have a cart….you’d be crazy not to snatch this one up!
Do you think your marketing friend could use a massage therapist at the event?
