We’ve done this a couple of times before and it’s always really fun…

Hi Steve,
I have been a long time follower. I had a hot dog cart in PA for 3 years and moved back to OH last November (2012). By the way I sold the cart and contacts at a considerable profit.
I am working at a golf course for now but guess what I miss the hot dog business. My old business was named DogGoneDog but I want a new name.
I am looking for something fun to name my new business…..am hoping your readers can help.
Thank you for all that you do.
Tammy

Hello, This one’s for you Tammy!
“Yellow Dogs”
You have a logo of a yellow lab (there are so many dog lovers of all types of dogs); then incorporate a plate of hot dogs with mustard. Maybe a Maitre’d offering it to the hound???? Play around with it, but Black and Yellow are stand out advertising colors Maitre’d in tuxedo. Your slogan can be “A Dog for Everyone”TM?? Put on your napkins, bags, cards, cups whatever and have a good time. You may think of how this would go in front of pet stores and dog or rescue fests//shows etc. Peace – Good luck
How about The dog pound? And the catch phrase, “Every kind of dog for every kind of dog lover.”
DogGoneDogs…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It worked well the first time for you!
I’m with Brian Wilson. We named our cart to relate to our product, Zay Zay’s Sub Sized Hot Dogs. What are some of your specialties? What makes you unique? Start there and good luck!

Papa George
When I saw your name Tammy, I immediately thought of those cute late fifties, early sixties movies with Debbie Reynolds and Sandra Dee. My dad loved those movies and lost the battle with my mom to name me Tammy. He especially loved the song, “Tammy Tell Me True”.
Anyway, there were 4 movies: “Tammy and the Bachelor” 1957, “Tammy Tell Me True” 1961, “Tammy and the Doctor” 1953 and “Tammy and the Millionaire” 1967.
Hmm….”Tammy and the Hot Dog”…?
Depending on your sentimentality about classic movies, you can think of this as either corny or cute.
Anyway, as soon as I saw your name I thought of my Dad and his love of those “Tammy” movies. I’m no name expert, but if I think of something else, I will suggest it.
One other thing….If you went with “Tammy and the Hot Dog”, your logo could have a “fifties” looking motif with a cute fifties teen girl holding and/or eating a hot dog. I think if I saw that the look of that would bring my mind back to the “Tammy” movies therefore explaining to the rest of your customers a sort-of link to those classic movies of those sweet days gone-by.
How about just Tammy Dog dolious Stand
“DOG GONE GOOD” HOT DOGS
CATCH ON WORDS THAT SAYS IT ALL
A couple I had tossed around for my hot dog cart were Frank-ly Relish-ing, A Dog to Relish, and Mustards last stand. (I am debating naming that my condiment table) I have chosen Let’s Get Frank’ed. You make your dog how you want it with many toppings (some bizarre).
“Tammy Yummy Dogs” It sounds fun, deliciuos, adn good for business. or
“TigerEatsDogs….(W)Ooods”……As you are selling in a golf court (In reference wirh Tiger Woods and that a the best golfers eat your dogs) or
“Dogs on the Green” Again, in reference to were you are selling.
(Maybe too late and you already chosed a name, but I couln’t help sendind you the names above. Good luck too!
