How Freakin’ Cool is This? One Of Our Own on ABC News!
Steve,
I was on television a couple of hours ago and I put in a plug for you. I did not get to say everything that I wanted to during the interview but at least I was able to mention you.
You have really helped me out with the book and the E-Z Built Cart plans. The cart is great and I really outfitted it well.
Thanks for everything!

Way to go Mark – WOW!!! You were awesome on TV. Good job. Also, thanks for the mention, that was very nice of you.
Good luck with your new hot dog cart business. Sell a ton!
It’s congratulations time in the comments – Let’s hear it for Mark!

Way to go Mark!
Someone once told me Good press is better than bad press and bad press is better than no press, And Coach always said Full Court press will win the game! Good Luck at your Location it sounds busy. By the way you’ve got a great face for radio! (just kiddin).
All the Best
Awesome job Mark, great exposure! I hope to be able to get that kind of coverage here soon myself, that would definately jumpstart my fledgling business. I’m extremely excited about the possiblities! Good luck and much continued success!

Way to go Mark! There’s nothing like free advertisement and people will stop purely because of the TV spot. I had in the period of two weeks an article with photos in two local papers and a glossy magazine spread. It lent immediate credibility and I still have people who remember two years later. You will prosper!
Mark way to go! Your cart looks just like mine except for the umbrella. Where did you get the sabrett umbrella. I’m in Florida too, can’t wait to get started just waiting on the permits and health departments approval. Best of luck to you.
Congratulations Mark. Great job in front of the camera. I’m sure you were very inspiring to the many people that find themselves out of a job at this difficult time.
Nice mention for Steve as well.
Thats the way to do it A+
Hey Mark we look alike we could be brothers
Best of Luck To you

Mark,
That spot would have cost a few thousand to make and you got it for free! You’ve got your fame, now go get your fortune!
Best of luck!
mark, your comments were great ,and just gives me so much excitement for getting started in this business, witch will be 3-4-10.Thanks to you Steve and everyone that i really think is going to change my life ,because of this web site.thank you everyone!!!!!!
I have been reading all comments for months now and I am stoked every time i open my computer… I am opening (the Dawg pound) in 6 weeks . I went all out for a 10by 20 tent with all the graphics, my wife thinks it was too much but I know it will pay off. I found a spot right across the street for our local (super wal-mart) in a farm and supply store parking lot (no rent) Ready to Rock and Roll !!!!
Congratulation Mark. That publicity is priceless. It definitely puts you on the map. I am hoping for a spot like that from one of our TV stations this spring. Good Luck
Hey Mark,
congrats you lucky dog!..hehe.Was thinking how lucky I’d be if I could get into the local paper, but you sure topped that! (another pun..hehe).Good job and good luck fellow hotdogger!!
Awsome interview Mark! How did you happen to have all this happen? Did the news people come to you on the street to come in the studio? I would like to do something like that but have them at my location so people can see where I am at. With any luck……
Time to make some $$
Way to go Mark! Your story will definately touch some hearts. Instead of sitting back and hoping that someone else will take care of you, you took control of your own destiny. You are a winner and will succeed at this great business! And by giving thanks to Steve and his business model, it tells me that you are not a selfish man and good things will come your way. Good luck to you and keep at it!
Way to go Mark. Your definitely at the right place at the right time. Cart looks great. Good luck with your spot. You got your two minutes of fame, now lets make lots of money. Also how hard is it to get a license in the sunshine state.
Great spot! I’m slowly but surely working my way towards setting up my stand in southern Indiana. I’ve read Steve’s book cover to cover twice, and the CD’s have taken up a permanent home in my car. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so excited about an idea.
I’ve started a blog about the transition I’m making from IT Consultant to Hot Dog guy. Check it out at www.meanmistermustards.com/blog
I need all the encouragement I can get!

Congrats Mark, it make us proud to know this business is doing so well. Our company is in the process of purchasing a custom built trailer that looks like a hotdog in a bun (our own design). If you’ld like to find out more, check out our website.
Keep on doggin!
wow! how inspirational that was (not that you are not inspirational Steve, but i think Mark’s TV appearance gave me that last kick I needed). I purchased a hot dog cart 2 months ago. Yesterday I got my business lic. and I am ready to roll. Good luck to you and God Bless America – our beautiful country of opportunity if you are willing to work!!!!
That was to cool. I just want to mention one problem you created. Now my wife wants to know why i can’t get on TV. I told her I was on TV once…I lost the cops but no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t shake the guy with the camera. Ha Ha
really though , Awesome Job!
Great job Mark! I had to go to the city council meeting in Albert lea Mn. When we started last June to get permission to use city parks and parking lots it was televised. It was amazing how many people said they saw me on t.v. my 2mins of fame really helped get us going
