Here’s an interesting project (more pics below)…
Hi Steve,
I have a used hot dog cart that needs refurbishing. I have two more sinks and an umbrella (not shown). It needs a pump, water heater and a faucet. I also have pans for it and an umbrella (not shown).
Thanks, Melissa

This is pretty cool. I can see a lot of possibilities for this rig. It looks like the frame is pretty heavy duty and it looks like it has 12″ wheel with bearing protectors.
Nice platform to build your dream cart on with a running head start. If you are interested, please email Melissa at littlejonigreen1970@yahoo.com
Just for the sake of discussion, how would you finish this cart if it were yours? How would you equip it and what foods would you serve from it? Let us know in the comments.

How much are you asking ?
Hey Parker, you need to email the owner at littlejonigreen1970@yahoo.com
I would love to know where this is and the price,It’s just what I need!
Hi Shelly, email the owner

Th good is its big and lots of possabilities. The downfall is mobility . Now me I would turn that into a fest trailer add a grittle a grill 4 sinks to satisfy all sates around my area and do extra fests and make a bundle of Money! For thoughs of you that haven’t done fests the HD is more forgivei g on what you serve you canyou can make your favorite food and sell it to crowded of people .. But you will have to pay a decient amount to have it at shows but with the right pr you can make allot of money at just one show but you have to do more than does as it takes allot of dogs to make that big buck at fairs and fests … I am working on somthing even bigger for my fests looks great I love the creative side I see from some of these carts:)
A fest trailer is a great idea. The frame should be up to the task. Thanks Tony!
I’d be intarested for sure BTW email me at thephotofather@gmail.co

Oh, the possibilities! 🙂
I would move the dual propane tanks to the end of the cart. That would leave enough room for an additional product service area like a sno-cone area. So, you can serve hot dogs on one end and snow cones on the other. Or, build a dual station for hot dogs that would serve for bigger events like fairs and festivals.
I thought about moving the steam pan section to the side. Then build up a side counter since the trailer is so big. But that seems like it would be more of a project. I would just build the other side to include additional product.
Yup, that’s what I would do! 🙂
Julia, you’re creativity is awesome. I knew you would come up with something great, just like you always do in the NewOps Group.
well, lots of possibilities here, but, first off the sink is way too big!, next I would turn it over to my husband to re-vamp, he is really good at it. Then next year watch out!!! The money would come rolling in,, Love your articles Steve! keep up the good work,
Marge
Thanks Marge. You are right, he would whip that thing into shape in no time. He’s very talented!
If this were my cart, I would move the gas tanks forward, and add a lemonade stand to it, while finishing off the rest of the cart for hot dogs. You would have plenty of storage for extra coolers, supplies all in one two-wheeled trailer. Dogs and Lemonade, does it get any better than that?
Nice!
If it were me I would add a fridge with deep cycle battery. Build up and place solar panels on top. Then I would add a griddle and place the dual tanks inside.
Good mods!
