Ron finished his E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart (get your plans by clicking here) and sent me these pics (see them below) in an email…
Hi Steve ,
Just finished my cart. I made some small changes from the plans. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
My wife and I have a grand opening for a car dealer in town, as soon as they get the building finished.
Thanks for all your help.
Ron & Jo Dee in Kingman AZ.

Nice job Ron. I LOVE the color. They can’t miss you, that’s for sure!
I’m diggin’ the grill and the wire racks for the buns – great idea!
A couple of questions:
Where did you get the clear roll top steam table cover?
Did you make the metal side shelf or did you buy it?
It looks like you have two small small pans next to the cooler – what do you use them for?
O.K. – so that’s more than a couple, sorry but we need to know!
Oh, my favorite part is the orange flasher on top of the cabinet. Super cool!
Let’s hear it for Ron in the comments, people!
-Steve
P.S. Get started on your E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart now and you’ll be slingin’ before you know it. And be sure to send me pics when you finish it. We all love to see them!

Go Longhorns!
One more question? I don’t see an umbrella, are you planning on frying in the sunshine or will you be under a large canopy?
Mike,
You can get .063″ diamond plate at most big box hardware stores.
-Steve
Wanda, have you sent me pics of your cart yet? If not, I want to see it!
-Steve
great job on the cart, it looks great and the color will help you stand out. for those of you looking at the grill, you can buy that one at lowes and yes there is an option with that grill, you can buy a flat gridle as an extra part. I bought one for cooking onions etc…. its nice thaqt you made the sink area from diamond plate.

Ron,
Where did you get your flashing light? Is it battery operated?
-Dean
Here is a link for a cool looking grill that would be perfect.
Dean
I love the color, great job. I just got finished building my cart also. Took it out for the first time today at the local courthouse. Congrats, wonderful job.
Thanks Dean, I’m interested in that flashing light also…
Kevin – send me some pics of the Weenie Hut in action!
-Steve
The led flashing light came from auto zone. cost about $ 39.99 and has a long cord that plugs into a power port. it’s not to bright enough to hurt someones eyes. (very low draw on battery )
Super Great Job Ron!! I love your cart! I know you put your heart into it!! You should be very proud, It’s easy to dream about it, but taking that next step and teaming up with Steve to turn a dream into a reality makes you a very special person. I know, you will do well!!
Jason
Great looking cart Ron! Nicely done!
I have eaten Ron’s hotdogs and they are great. He and JoDee have spent a lot of time finding the best ingredients for their speciality “dogs”. He even made me a vegetarian one which I must say was the best hotdog I have ever eaten.
If you live in the Kingman AZ. area or are planning a trip, I would say go try one for yourself. They are a work of art.
The cart is cool too!
Tried them last May and they were great. Bet they are even better now, if possible
WOW – Really nice job on the cart. It looks so professional. I’ve heard great things about the dogs too – can’t wait to try one!!!! Good luck. Love to you and JoDee.
Where did you find a good vegetarian dog? I can’t find a good one anywhere.
kevin/ weeie hut
the vegetarian dog comes from Loma Linda. big franks they come in can I found them on line, and Stater Bros. in Calif. sell them. I think there are about six or eight in a can. I tried them out on my sister and my friend, and both liked them. they look like a real hot dog. 1-800-557-6525 hope this helps you Ron ( morningstarfarms.com)
