This is probably the coolest thing I’ve come across in… forever. Check out the pics below.
The first step in making a sale is getting the customer’s attention.
If no one sees you, no one buys from you. That’s one of the reasons I prefer a brightly painted hot dog cart over a sheet metal unit.
Well here’s an eyeball grabbing hot dog truck that will get you more attention than you know what to do with!
It’s a street legal Cushman Truckster three wheel utility vehicle that has been converted into an enclosed hot dog cart.
This little beauty is powered by a 49cc gas engine which means there is no license required. Just gas up, jump in, cruise around, and SLING, baby!
How much fun could you have with this?
This super cool Cushman hot dog cart is located in the Miami Florida area. Asking price is $7500.

That is great.
Awesome cart! I had a 1960 Cushman my first three years of my hot dog business. People loved it and I still get people tell me they miss the sound of that one cylinder engine chugging down the road. Rock on!
very cool…. hope it brings them in!
I looked into these years ago & Connecticut (Corrupticut) would not register this type vehicle. Nothing has changed. With a 49cc motor, may be a game changer. The under 50cc loop hole. Seems really under powered for the purpose, but will work.
1St Mate Jim.
You are right Jim, the 49cc motor is the key. In most places, anything under 50cc does not have to be licensed. As far as power is concerned, I spoke to the owner of this cart at length and he scoots all around Miami every day with no problems.
Aye matey !!! Flatlanders !!
Very nice…looks vagely familiar!!!

I have thought of something like that but, the safety department wouldn’t allow it because, I have to have working sinks, at least 3 wares sinks and 1 hand sink! So, if, it had them I would think WOW How Cool but, Since, it has no sinks that I can see, then it wouldn’t work here…….
You can always add sinks. Easy peasy…
illinois changed their law to be 0cc’s and up now so one would need a MC license and take the test for whatever they are driving. I sold electric bikes and every now and then I get a call about titles, plates and ins. If the two/ three wheeler has under 50cc’s and can be pedaled powered than all seems to work plates, etc. although I always say it depends on the policeman. Sell em’ all
That is the coolest, as far as sinks just check out Steves courses sinks are the easiest,
It is really cool. There is a Hot Truck kinda like it in Santa Rosa area that was made from an old US Mail Jeep. It would be a blast to go out with it every day.
Hi Paul ,
I live in San Bernardino , CA . , where would you go to buy an old US Mail Jeep ? What do they cost approx. ? Any clue ? Thanks .
I know that the USPS used to auction them off once a year. Not sure if they still do…
in Los Angeles, anything under 50cc is not street legal. Yet I’ve
seen electric scooters on the road that are under 50cc
I looking for a three wheel vehicle that look the same as cushman but it bigger and I thing is called Windstar that goes over 100 per hours. Do you know where can i get one.
This should not be advertised as no license required because in my state you need a valid driver’s license to operate one.
