Carts of Cash in Poland!

Hello Steve,

I purchased your Carts of Cash course a while ago and I thought I drop you a line.

I am based in Poland, Europe, so my experience may not be that relevant, but anyway.

I have really enjoyed your books as they give valuable info about hotdog vending. Moreover your story is a true confidence booster if someone gives Continue reading “Carts of Cash in Poland!”

Video: Grillwalkers Spotted in Berlin.

A few months ago, I posted one of the first pictures ever taken of an elusive new species of street vendor – the Grillwalker. Now we have video!

Apparently multiple grillwalkers have been sighted in Berlin, selling wurst (sausages) to locals and tourists alike.

The first grillwalker was spotted in 1997 after Bertram Rohloff invented the contraption to get around local street vending laws. As long as nothing touched the ground, no permits were required.

The Grillwalker franchise is growing in Germany, with Mr. Rohloff hiring subcontractors to wear the devices in Berlin and other cities.

What do you think – great idea, or just a novelty? Would you strap one of these things on? Will we see grillwalkers in New York, Chicago, or L.A. anytime soon?

Let me know what you think in the comments.

Thanks Hannalisa and Tom for bringing this to my attention!

I’ve only got one word for this – WOW!!!

Let me set this up for you…

You know that the E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart is the cheapest way to get started in this business. You also know that the E-Z Built is so easy to construct that practically anyone can do it.

You also know that all of the step by step construction videos, plans, drawings, and health department schematics are now included in the Hot Dog Profits Premium Membership along with training on how to start and run your own hot dog biz.

But did you also know that the E-Z Built is highly customizable?  That’s right.  Since you are the builder, you have the option of setting it up any way you like, to serve any foods you want, with what ever equipment you need.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Steve Coronado started his hot dog cart business in Roswell, New Mexico – the site of what the military says was a high altitude surveillance balloon accident in 1947. These days Roswell is famous because many UFO proponents maintain that alien spacecraft debris and bodies were recovered, and that the military then engaged in a cover-up.

In any case, Roswell plays host to a very successful annual UFO festival and Steve sold a ton of hot dogs there this year. Here is the email he sent me.

*******************

Steve,

Here are a few pics, me and the Aliens at the 62nd Annual UFO festival. It is alot of work, but events are very lucrative. Being new in this business, I did very  well, I handled my self as a professional and kept my cool. Had I  not read your course “Carts of Cash”, I probably wouldn’t have made it.

Gross was $920 in 2 days Fri. and Sat. Expenses were $180.00 So $740.00 for me, and I get to set up every sat. and sun. at this same spot, the International UFO Museum, at no charge, just a convenience to all the visitors.

Life is GOOOOOD!!!!

New Video – Mike’s Hot Dog Cart

Frankly speaking, business is booming at sidewalk vendor’s hot dog cart.

Mike Sullivan had just been laid off from his job as a DHL deliveryman after some 15 years.  The process-serving company he’d set up after his layoff was not making ends meet. The 55-year-old wasn’t sure what would, until he sat down to watch a movie.

In the background of one scene he saw a man selling Continue reading “New Video – Mike’s Hot Dog Cart”

Got A Web Site? – Let’s See It!

I have been getting a lot of emails recently from readers of Hot Dog Cart News asking me to check out their web sites. I really enjoy seeing how you folks are promoting your hot dog cart businesses online, which gives me an idea…

If you have a hot dog vending business, and you have a web site to promote it, how about sharing it here on HDCN.  Don’t worry if it’s not super professional. The best ones are often very simple.

I think it will be fun to check out everyone’s sites, and to see all the different designs and marketing approaches as well as being able to learn from each other. But there’s a bonus – if you share your site here you’ll get some valuable advertising for free. This site gets 50,000 page views per month, so you don’t want to miss this opportunity!

Please note – this is only for hot dog cart operators, not cart manufacturers or industry suppliers. Manufacturers can contact me for advertising packages and rates.

Don’t be shy, let’s see what you’ve got. Leave your web address in the comments box below.

Pics Of The Most Beautiful Hot Dog Cart In The World!

EZ Built hot dog cart

I’m totally blown away…

Totally.

Check out this E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart covered with custom hand painted murals. If you are from Chicago (like I am) you will be sure to recognize these scenes.

I don’t mind admitting that I teared up a little when I saw these famous scenes from my old home town gracing the sides of a hot dog cart that I designed, built by one of my customers.

This is why I do what I do here at HotDogProfits.com.

I’d like you to read the email sent to me by Larry and Ruth, owners of this rolling work of art.

Hello Steve,

My wife and I are both retired. We were looking for ways to generate some extra cash. Our daughter works for a large insurance company and kept telling us she got a lot inquiries about coverage on a hot dog cart.

So after ignoring that for 4 months I decided to look into it. I ordered your E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart videos and plans one night and thought I could build it without much trouble. But I wanted it to stand out from other carts or its just another hot dog cart, not that that’s bad. We are quite proud of it, what do you think?

Hope you like the pictures. I was thinking of building one with the St. Louis Arch on the back do you think there would be any takers?

Thanks,

Larry and Ruth, Patriots Hot Dogs

Larry and Ruth – you made my year!!!

I hope everyone enjoys these pics as much as I do, and if you have a finished E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart I want to see your pics too!

And you all need to leave comments for Larry and Ruth – they deserve it!!!
