Hot Dog Profits Premium member Billy Bell just sent me these pictures of the E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart that he just built by following along with the cart building videos that are included in the membership (there are now over 120 videos in the members area – including a complete set that shows how to actually work the hot dog cart and sling dogs like a pro).
Billy created a really unique cart as you will see in the pics below…
The E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart was designed from the beginning to be easy to build and easy to customize.
Billy certainly applied his creativity to our design and came up with something different for sure!
The feature that I like the most is the roof that extends over the whole work area. In most places you would not need an umbrella in order to pass the health inspection with a roof like this.
Nice job Billy!

P.S. Lets give Billy a great big “attaboy” in the comments. He deserves it!

Cool cart!!!
Nice cart Billy! Nice add on to your cart.
Gorgeous cart ! I really like the color scheme, it really adds to your addition to the cart design concept that has been so successful for so many people across our great country. Blessings, Chappy
I need to quit looking at these pictures, gonna give me the hot dog itch again. Very nice job.
Nice work! The night lights make your cart looks so inviting!
Great job looks like a pro slinger
I dnot understand why a tent is over the cart if he has a roof?
Great job on Roof, you sure came up with a positive idea that can be used b many. THANKS
Hot dog Jim
Wow, I love it!
Great, Great looking cart! I may use your idea if I decide to build another cart. CONGRATULATIONS on a superb, well done job!!!
Dear Mr. Billy,
Your cart looks very nice. I am not as smart as most are can you please explain what type of lights you used and how they are hooked up to your cart? I do appreciate this from you. Take care, Jim
looks great. makes one think can a small gable roof be extended to cover the slinger?
“sell em’ all”
jerry
I like it!

1St mate Jim.
Wow that’s cool my husband ad I are in the process of building our carts and had this same idea instead of the umbrella …..we are building 2 carts one for hubby and a little one for our son .. I briefly asked my husband what if we made a roof then we wouldn’t need an umbrella but wasn’t sure if it would have passed the health codes here in hawaii. Does anyone know if it makes a difference as to having the umbrella or building a roof like this ..sorry I’m clueless about everything …I love these pictures where as we only had it in our heads and I love it very much …..thank you that’s a beautiful cart
Hi Noelani,
Always check with your personal health inspector if you are unsure about any modifications and how they will impact your compliance with local codes.
Send pics of both of your carts when you finish them!
-Steve
Awesome job. Great color scheme. I’m just starting to build mine so pics like this give me great ideas.
Very cool
Like the cart. I was noticing that where he has the handle in photo number 4 there does not seem to be any vents for the steam tables. So I assume they are under the handle box?
Looks like vents are on each side of the cart ?
Very Cool and would be a first choice from other vendors in the area, i would think.
Nice, great job!
Love it! Good imagination on thinking of the roof, the lighting is great.
Now that’s pretty cool!!!
I really like the lights, I need something like that for outdoor movie events I do. Mthanks for the ideas.
Great job. Sling em!
great job looks good
Super looking dogger-wagon, Bill.
Super job with the roof and lights.
Very nice!!!!!!!!
Idea: Enclose the cart, seen it done, requirement in Georgia if you get the wrong Health Inspector…
That’s what I love about this blog, many great ideas! Love the roof and the idea from Jerry ” Dogs on the Run” about extending the roof to cover the slinger! Great for rain, snow, and sun!
GREAT LOOKING CART, GONNA DO THE SAME WHEN I FINISH MY CART
I like it too!
Nice cart! Well thought out.
