I just got a sad email from one of our brother doggers, Larry Helveston…
Steve, with great reluctance I must sell my cart that I put so much of my life into. I recently was in the hospital with congestive heart failure, a collapsed right lung and diabetes out of control. I’m doing better but have a ways to go. I won’t be able to sling dogs anymore and run the business. I’m asking $2800.00 for the cart. I’m in Andersonville, Tennessee, which is 20 miles north of Knoxville. Phone is 865-806-5951. E-mail helveston@comcast.net . I built the cart this year and went into business in July. The cart is still like new. Please find attached pictures.
Thanks,
Larry Helveston

You’ll remember Larry from an article in Hot Dog Cart News last July. Larry is the former chiropractor who built a highly modified, totally pro quality E-Z Built and used it to start his own business at the local ball fields.
This has to be the deal of the year. If you want this cart you better jump on it fast. Let’s help Larry get this cart sold by clicking the “f Share” button.
I know I speak for all of us in saying, “Get well soon Larry!” but please tell him yourself in the comments.
My prayers are with you brother.
-Steve
UPDATE 12/2/10: Larry’s cart has been SOLD.

What a shame. That’s one of the best looking carts I’ve seen here. I kept it in my favorite places to use for ideas. I hope you get better.
People first is my motto, Larry hope you get better soon! You have a great set up there, I hope someone can take it over and make it flourish just as you did.

First things first, Larry take care of yourself. You only got one you & you can always build another cart when your health is better. Next, I’d love to have your cart to speed up starting my business. I don’t know how cost effective it would be though since I live in Dallas.
Peace and God be with you
Larry, I remember seeing your cart on here when you finished it and how impressive it is! Best of luck and get well soon.

Live strong, Larry. Everyone’s pulling and praying for you, sir!
Lot’s of prayers going for you, Brother. You’d be surprised how much better you might do in the near future once they get you recovered from all this and under control. It’s a huge blow all at once, but all can be healed or controlled. You just might want to get another cart in a year or so. Hang in there.
I wish Larry the best. It is interesting that I started my cart business in April this year with the same name. Jerry
Best wishes to Larry for a quick recovery.
God Bless get well soon. I will put u on my prayer list.
Larry, I hope you recover quickly! My prayers are with you and your family.
Again, thank you, I’m overwhelmed by all of you. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. I wish I could meet everyone of you in person. Likewise, may the Lord bless and protect each and everyone of you.
UPDATE: Larry’s cart has been SOLD.
Thanks for spreading the word and helping Larry out.
