I just got news of five Grand Opening gigs that need hot dog vendors in June.
All food is pre-paid by the promoter. All you have to do is show up and give away dogs at the Grand Opening.
You’ll get $600 for your efforts.
We have posted these gigs in the past for this same promoter. He is legit.

Hi Steve,
I need Hot Dog Cart vendors in 5 Florida locations on June 12 and June 13th. It’s 3 hours on June 12thfrom 3 to 6 pm, and 3 hours on Saturday June 13thfrom 11 – 2 pm. It is a store Grand Opening event. You will give away 700 Hot Dogs each day, ketchup and mustard ONLY. I will reimburse you up front for all product costs and pay you $600 for your time. This is an excellent gig. I have references all over the country of other vendors that have worked for me. This will be the first round of many, many rounds of Grand Openings that you can participate in. You must be licensed!

Hi Steve. I helped a fellow vendor do a gig for Mark a couple of months ago. The gig went fairly well, however you MUST have a helper, as you will be slammed giving away dogs as fast as you can roll them. I don’t see how any one person could handle that kind of volume. Since the gig pays $300 each day, depending on your labor cost, you could easily feel like you should have been paid more. All in all, it’s a pretty good gig, but you WILL work very hard for that money.

I’ve done many gigs where the line was non-stop and yes, you’ll be working hard but handing out hot dogs without having to take money and make change is pretty cushy. Just ask a brick layer or concrete laborer if they think selling hot dogs is hard work, lol.

I’ve worked one of Mark’s Grand Opening Gigs in Louisville, Ky.
Everything went smooth.
Mark is true to his word, everything we discussed was provided in a very timely manner.
Pay was good, for work involved…as you said, no drinks/chips or change, just Slinging!
I worked the Gig myself, had no trouble keeping up, (was very busy). Had a line for most part of the 3 hour time frame but folks will stand/wait in line for a free Hot Dog and not mind.
If needed, looking forward to working with Mark again, once my season slows down in October.
