To all of you who are slingin’ today – “SELL ‘EM ALL!!!”

To all who are taking the day off – share the love. Buy a hot dog from your competitor!

In any case, be grateful that we live in AMERICA. The best country in the world – brought to you by our fellow Americans from the past and present who work hard, play hard, keep us safe, defend our freedom, raise our children, and honor God.

I want to thank all of my HDCN readers for being a part of our most American vocation and contributing so many awesome thoughts, tips, tricks, and encouragements to your fellow doggers. You make writing this newsletter a pure joy for me.

Thanks, Steve, and the same to you! Wonderful website! You’ve taken a potential business competition and turned it into a fraternity! We love it! It’s so great to get all these tips and share info with each other. Together with you we are making it one of America’s best growing businesses.
I’m working the Fourth. At a beach, it has summer memories written all over it, especially for the kids. I’ll take tuesday off, I’m having too much fun.

We will be at the Farmer’s market in Fruita, then we have a Fourth of July (on the 3rd LOL) to do…far from taking the weekend off. I echo the sentiments here about how important this forum is. The support, the new ideas, the excitement for the biz is contagious and soooooooo helpful. Thank you!!!!

Pocono – if I drank a 5th for the 4th on the 3rd, I’d have to take a 2nd to tell you that you’re 1st in my book. Happy Fourth, my most eloquent friend!

Thanks Steve, Happy Fourth to all.
Does anyone have a good ratio or educated guess as to how many dogs to have on hand? I’m doing my first “big” (for my area, NE Al.) festival on Sat. the 2nd. They say 12 to 15,000 pass through. It goes for 12 hours, 9 AM to 9PM. It includes a car show too. Fireworks at 9PM.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks Doggers

Steve, Yes the highs are great. I’ve to many doubters telling me its a fools errand. But, when I’m away slinging dogs, I do get that rush. It’s our countries Independants day celebration and our founding fathers need to be remembered with love and honor. Happy Independants Day, everyone!

Thanks for the great website , Steve. I look forward to each weekly topic. I encourages me to keep moving forward in my hotdog business.
Way up here in Canada we celebrate Canada’s birthday on July 1st. I worked all day at our Children’s festival and then late into the night at our fireworks celebration. The day was long, happy and profitable. Vending is a lifestyle that’s new to me but other vendors are friendly and happy, and like to encourage and help each other. Not only the money is great but the being outdoors and meeting so many friendly people it just pretty darn good.
Happy Canada Day !
Best of luck to all you other doggers.
